Please review the Immanuel Wedding Guide
here.
If date or time of the wedding is not yet finalized, provide your best guess.
The time and availability of the church building for the rehearsal must be arranged with the Pastor as far in advance as possible. It is important that the rehearsal begin at the scheduled time. Rehearsals generally last about an hour. Bring rings, bulletins, unity candle, decorations and clothing you wish to have locked up overnight.
Parents of the Bride/Groom
The organist at Immanuel Lutheran normally plays at all weddings where organ music is desired. Depending on availability, our praise team may also be available. The Pastor can assist you with choosing appropriate music for your wedding. Should you desire a different organist, arrangements and approval must first be made through the Pastor. You may provide your own soloist, and if you should need additional rehearsals, arrangements must be made directly with the Pastor. If you need suggestions for a soloist, please contact the Pastor. You may also use approved recorded music for the ceremony.
By law, applicants must apply for their license at least 5 days before the ceremony and not more than 30 days before the ceremony. Both parties must be present to apply at the Wood County Clerk's Office, Room 101, Wood County Courthouse. Residents of Wisconsin must apply to the County Clerk of the county in which either is a resident. Non-Wisconsin Residents, desiring to be married in Wisconsin, must apply for a license in the county in which they are to be married. https://www.co.wood.wi.us/Departments/Clerk/MarriageLicenses.aspx
