We are still in unprecedented times and scheduling church events and functions still comes with many complexities. However, we plan to have our youth Communion class during Lent once again.

Youth currently in 5th Grade and older are welcome to register. Students are required to take the Communion Class at least once before they are confirmed. It is expected that an adult would also be listening/studying with each registered student. 

We will meet in the Learning Center in our school building Thursday, March 10th, and Tuesday, March 15th, 4-6:30 pm. We will provide some after-school snacks. Please arrange for a parent or guardian to join the student for each meeting.

After completing the class, students will be invited to participate in Holy Communion for the first time on Maundy Thursday (April 14) at 6:00 pm. 

The fee is $15 in person or $16 online ($1 online processing charge). This fee (collected here or at the office) covers the cost of a catechism, used each week during the class. If you have a catechism, please ensure it has a 2017 or 2018 copyright date, as we will all need the same book. If the fee is too great a financial burden, please talk to Tara Darling, DCE. Catechisms can be picked up from the office.
